Terms of Service

Welcome to Vantra. By creating an account or using Vantra Hub, the Vantra mobile app, vantrastudios.com, or any Vantra Studios product (collectively, "Vantra"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Vantra.

1. Who can use Vantra

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and at least 17 to upload face photos for AI identity training. By signing up you confirm you meet these requirements. If we discover an account belongs to someone underage, we will delete it.

2. Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your password safe. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately. You may not share your account, sell it, or impersonate another person.

3. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you create on Vantra (posts, comments, collab episodes, custom prompts). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content within Vantra so the platform can function (showing your post in feeds, sharing collab episodes between participating creators, etc.). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is legally required.

4. Identity training and biometric data

Vantra's collab feature trains an AI model of your face from photos you upload. This is biometric data. Important things to know:

• You must explicitly consent before any face training begins.
• Your trained AI identity model is private to you. Other creators cannot access it directly — they can only use it in collab episodes you've approved with them.
• You can delete your AI identity at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
• We do not sell your face data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train any other product.
• You may only upload photos of yourself, or photos where you have explicit written consent from every person depicted.

5. Collab episodes

Vantra's collab feature generates AI videos featuring two creators using their trained identity models. By participating in a collab project:

• You consent to your AI identity being used in episodes within that specific project.
• Both creators must approve every episode before it is posted publicly.
• You may decline an episode at any time. Declined episodes are not published.
• You may delete a collab project at any time. Deletion removes all associated episodes.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vantra to:

• Post content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or hateful.
• Upload someone else's face without their explicit consent.
• Generate content that depicts real people in misleading or defamatory ways.
• Generate content involving minors in any sexual, suggestive, or harmful context.
• Impersonate any person or organisation.
• Distribute malware, phish for credentials, or attempt to breach our systems.
• Scrape or systematically harvest content from Vantra without permission.
• Use Vantra's outputs to deceive, defraud, harass, or violate the rights of any person.

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Reporting and moderation

You can report any content that violates these Terms via the report button on posts, profiles, episodes, and messages. We aim to review every report within 24 hours. We may, at our discretion, hide content, suspend accounts, or remove users entirely. Repeated violations result in permanent bans.

8. Your content rights

You can delete any content you've created at any time. You can request deletion of your entire account from Settings. Account deletion is permanent and removes your profile, posts, comments, collab projects, episodes, identity model, face references, and messages. Some data may be retained briefly for legal or operational purposes (e.g. fraud prevention, tax records).

9. Payments

Most Vantra features are free. Some features require payment via Replicate API credits (for AI generation) or future Vantra subscriptions. All purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with notice.

10. Third-party services

Vantra uses third-party services to function, including Replicate (for AI image and video generation), Supabase (for database and storage), Netlify (hosting), and Anthropic (for Claude-powered features). By using Vantra you also agree to those services' terms where they apply to your data. We choose providers carefully but are not responsible for their independent actions.

11. Disclaimers

Vantra is provided "as is." AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or unexpected outputs. We do not guarantee that any specific generation will succeed, look like you, or be free of artefacts. AI training and generation depend on third-party models that we do not control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vantra Studios disclaims all warranties (express, implied, or statutory) including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vantra Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Vantra. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid Vantra Studios in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100 — whichever is greater.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Vantra Studios harmless from any claim arising from content you post, your use of Vantra, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or pose a risk to other users or the service. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be heard in the courts of Brisbane, Queensland.
